(Makes 2 cups – 1 serving = 1/4 cup)
1- 16oz. can chick peas
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/2 teaspoon salt
juice of 1 lemon
1. In a food processor combine chick peas, garlic, tahini, salt, and lemon juice.
2. Process about 30 seconds until you have a smooth mixture.
3. Scoop into a bowl, drizzle with olive oil.
4. Sprinkle on paprika and chopped fresh parsley.
5. Serve hummus with slices of fresh pita bread, You did it! Yum!
